Grand Rapids’ New Urbanism Film Festival

The Grand Rapids' New Urbanism Film Festival is back! Join ICCF & the Congress for New Urbanism: Michigan as we screen some of the award-winning films from the New Urbanism Film Festival in LA.

This year, in addition to the film festival, we are partnering with the Calvin College Department of Sociology and Social Work to welcome Richard Rothstein, author of The Color of Law, for a free lecture on his award-winning book. Both events will be hosted at the Wealthy Theatre with the free lecture beginning at 3:30 pm (doors open at 3:00 pm) and the film festival beginning at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm).

If conversations around urban planning, community building, gentrification, and/or city living fascinate you, this is an evening you will not want to miss!
