Become a Member
CNU was founded on the idea that we are stronger together! Joining CNU makes you part of an interdisciplinary network of New Urbanist practitioners across sectors, professions, and geography. It connects you to a powerful movement working to advance walkable urbanism -- and gives you the resources and tools you need to affect change as well as sharpen your skills and knowledge about the architecture of community. From publications, reports, and gatherings, CNU members have a unique opportunity to learn, connect, engage, network, advocate and innovate with others who are developing a renewed vision for our built environment and to reverse the catastrophic social, economic and environmental damage done by sprawl, economic and racial segregation and building cities around cars instead of people.
Additionally, CNU membership dues support year-round programming such as the Legacy Projects, Charter Awards, and the Project for Code Reform. All of CNU's reports, including Public Square and Freeways Without Futures, are also only made available because of the support of our members.
With multiple membership levels available, there is a category to match your capacity for support.
Welcome to our movement to build places people love!
